Scion offers car enthusiasts a preview of its iM Concept car, which is scheduled for a global debut at the LA Auto Show next month.
The carmaker did not divulge much information about the iM, but based from the provided images, the car promises a sporty appearance and, hopefully, performance as well. It has a slender grille, angular headlights, multi-spoke alloy wheels and large brake ducts. It even shares some semblance with the compact hatchback Toyota Auris, which is only available in Europe.
According to a recent statement from Scion, the new iM is aimed to reflect the evolving needs and desires of its younger generation of customers. It can be recalled that the company’s marketing strategy has shifted to targeting younger consumers instead of older ones when it first launched its ‘What Moves You’ campaign two years ago. Onlookers will have to wait and see if this new vehicle will appeal to younger and older consumers alike.
More images of the iM will be shared by Scion on Instagram and those who are interested to find out more about the vehicle can participate in the conversation online using the #iMDriven hashtag.
The iM Concept car will officially make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19.
